Two Minute Foundation

The Oceanarium collaborates with the Two Minute Foundation, where the Oceanarium provides a clean-up station to its visitors and passers-by to help clean up our local community, AKA the beach!

The Two Minute Foundation raises awareness of litter and plastic pollution and gives everyone the tools they need to clean up the planet.

In summer 2023, Oceanarium staff and helpful volunteers collected over 100 kg of litter on the beach, and would you believe the most common source of litter were socks!
