Hengistbury Head Heroes

Just got back from Beach Watch 2009 - was a really good turn out this year with about 20 willing volunteers of all ages. We were joined by our friends from Starbucks who came in force to help out survey and litter pick along Hengistbury Head.

We found some interesting rubbish including fishing line, beer cans, milk bottles and carrier bags. On first guess there appears to be less litter than last year…which must be good news….but you’ll just have to wait for the full survey results to find out for definite.

So, thanks again to everyone who came along, and thank you to who ever arranged the good weather too!
