Part Time Admission/Retail Assistants

Confident, motivated, well-presented individuals who have experience in a customer led environment are required to join the Admission/Retail team at the Oceanarium, Bournemouth.

The position requires excellent customer service skills, cashier experience, basic IT experience and the ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.

Shifts will primarily be weekends with occasional part time during the week. The successful candidate will be expected to work during school holidays. The hourly rate for this position is £5.80 per hour.

Part Time Seasonal Café Assistants

Confident, motivated, well-presented individuals who have experience in a customer led environment are required to join the Off Shore Café at the award winning Oceanarium.

The position requires excellent customer service skills, cashier experience, the ability to work under pressure and to speak fluent English. Experience in food and beverage preparation is preferred.

Applicants must be 18 or over and available to work weekends and school holidays. The hourly rate for this position is £5.80 per hour.

WORK EXPERIENCE

A limited number of work experience placements are available with our aquatics team. We receive numerous applications each year and can only offer one work experience placement at a time, so we recommend contacting us as soon as possible. Applicants must be:

Over the age of 16
Undertaking a marine biology or animal welfare related course or with previous active involvement in these areas through volunteering or employment
