BIRTHDAY PARTIES

The Oceanarium offers a unique venue for Birthday Parties. Make it a birthday to remember with a special tour of the Oceanarium, led by one of our experienced Welcome Hosts and a party tea in the Offshore Café.

A birthday party must have a minimum of 10 children and a maximum of 20. We can accommodate one party a day at 4.00pm until 6.00pm weekdays from October through to May (depending upon availability). Parties are not available at peak times, which includes weekends, half terms and school holidays.

The price is £15.00 per child and this includes a guided tour and a party tea. The menu is a choice of chicken nuggets and chips, hotdog and chips or veggie teddies and chips, with a drink, and an ice cream or ice lolly (subject to availability). Parents are welcome to provide their own birthday cake if they wish, to be served after the birthday tea.

Any special dietary requirements can also be catered for but 7 days notice prior to the party must be given. Each child receives a small gift with a little extra for the birthday child.

Two adults are admitted free with the party and must remain with the party at all times - any extra adults are charged at £4.47; although this does not include any food.

Birthday parties are popular so we do require a £150.00 deposit to secure the booking. This covers 10 children and any extra can be paid for on the day. The deposit can be paid by credit card over the phone or by cheque or cash.
