Atlantic Pork Fish
Anisotremus virginicus
Inhabits reefs and rocky bottoms. This fish is an omnivore, feeding at night on molluscs, echinoderms, annelids, and crustaceans.
Has a striped yellow and silvery blue body with yellow fins and 2 vertical black bars: one from nape through eye to mouth, another from origin of dorsal fin to base of pectoral fin.
The Atlantic pork fish is the only grunt fish in the Caribbean.
